The chapter seeks to situate appropriate responses to these questions through thè use of thè analy ficai !.. 4s ofphilosophy. Through thè use of conceptual clarification and expository analysis, for example, thè chapter critically identifies two types of management philosophy vis-à-vis thè ir attendant philosophical conceptions of thè person. The chapter arrives at what it calls thè 'Sociability Approach' to managing people at work.
