It was a means of communicating government actions and colonial policies to the people. They are historic document and one of the nation’s national heritages. These historic documents are under the threat of mold and insect damage, hence, the need to preserve them digitally and provide wider access to them. This study was carried out in Kenneth Dike Library, University of Ibadan.
