Leaning on consequential ethical theories, this paper brings to the fore the meaning of ethical education, in features, methods of application, challenges and the expected results while factoring it to global conflict resolution processesItem Integrating youth into change mantra through renewal of wearing cloth (iwa akwa) rite among the Igbo people of Nigeria(African Society for the Study of Sociology and Ethics of Religions, 2018-12) Ayantayo, G. Leaning on Durkheim theory of functionalism of religion, the paper proves that integration of the tradition as a home grown agent of change would help drive home the philosophy of Buhari’s change agenda. This is predicated on the fact that the youth are energetic, aware of the importance of socialization and building friendship using modern technologies and communication facilities to advance change and developmentItem Omugwo - a socio-religious template for protecting the rights of nursing mothers and the girl child among the Igbo of eastern Nigeria(African Society for the Study of Sociology and Ethics of Religions, 2017-10) Ayantayo, G.
