This work evaluates the sources and uses of fund for and by the centre for external studies. It is discovered that the centre though appears to be adequatly funded but if all it needs to do is done, the funding becomes inadequate. And it may become extinct if nothing is done, the to improve the revenue base of the centre. It this suggested that the remuneration of the staff be improved while academic staff be recruited for improved services. It is equally suggested that investment of excess income be made, consultnacy services be set up, and centre's programmes be expanded to invovle those faculties and departments that are not yet taking part in its programme. Furthermore, intakes could be increased and fees be reised to meet the needs of the centre. The university should fully integrate the centre for greater productivity and sustainability of the programme.en_US
